Did anyone here get into the first season of the FX Series "Damages"?

I found this to be one of the best drama/suspense series that I have ever encounter. I'm really looking forward to the second season starting on Jan 7th.
I got into this show when I was on an overnight gig. we played on Friday night and then again on Satuday night. Me and the keyboard player were sharing a room and the weather was crap out side. So we had all day Saturday to kill until we had to play that night. Well I wake up in the morning and turn on the TV and it happend to be on this show. They were running a marathon of the whole first season leading up to the finale, which was airing the next week. We both got sucked into it. I've been wating over a year for the follow up second season.
