Dance Dance Revolution

My wife brought this thing home the other day for our Wii. I played it. I feel dirty and emasculated because I had fun. She wants to get another dance pads so we can have family "dance-offs". Should I just stick a pencil in my neck?

Video tape yourself.

Watch it.

See if you ever play again.

That's my advice.

It is decent exercise on the higher difficulty settings.

I thought you said you weren't a proud man.

I bought it for my kids for Christmas, and we bought a 2nd dance pad right afterwards. The 2nd pad does make it more fun. I've only played a few times, usually with one of the kids. It's a nice trade-off: they get to laugh at how terrible I am at it, and I get to trick them into getting some actual exercise for a change. Although I don't like the songs -- even the rock songs have been way too disco-fied.

This just proves that the Man Laws are inviolate, none are above them, not even the editor of said laws is immune to their application.

Another will step forward and be worthy.

Love that movie.
My God. Amazing.

Also, Maki.
DDR is fun. You're fine.
Just...try to avoid the family dance offs, unless the deal is sex.

I suspect this isn't your first time having that feeling. After all, you're married.

No he isn't, but there are those of us that don't play Dance Dance Revolution and thus retain at least a modicum of our manhood.

I can dance. I can do fancy flips. I can make human pyramids.

Sadly I cannot do the DDR thing for the life of me. I sold my game and dance pad to the neighbor kids.

I'm a sorry Asian.

You make a good point, Gard. I have also avoided that particular method of emasculation.
