As the father of two daughters, I'm very happy to see one more barrier fall. Congrats, Danica!

It's great that she finally won. But,there was only 18 cars in the line up. What happened to all of the CART drivers? I figured some of them would be in the line-up after the unification of IRL and CART.

Finally. Mark one for the women. I'm betting their new strategy to have Danica put the cell phone down and not try to apply makeup during the last 10 laps is what did it.

I wonder if she scrapes the white lettering on her tires by running them against the curb? The check engine light was probably on during the last 20 laps too!

Anyone ever see her when she hosted "The Power Block" on Spike? She was horrible...looked like she was always kind of talking out of the side of her mouth or something...kinda like Greta Van Sustern. Those pics from Maxim make her look alright, but I still can't get over how crappy she was on Spike.

REGARDLESS, it's pretty awesome that she one. She's a damn good driver, and her team did everything right.

Women tend to be very competitive with men in auto racing and in piloting aircraft.

I am still kind of disturbed that my ex beat my 1/4 mile time of the day on her first run ever.

Competitive women rule.
