At least once this weekend.

I cannot tell you the last time I planned to see a movie several times within a week of its release. And I haven't even seen The Dark Knight.

Saw it last night at a preliminary screening (my guitarist is a projectionist). It was really good. I mean, I expected it to be good and I was still really impressed.

When the crowds die down a bit, I'm pretty sure I'll see it again in the theater, which is something I almost never do.

I just printed my tickets off. I will be going tomorrow night at 10:45 with a few friends. I would be going to the showing at midnight, but I have to work early tomorrow. I am so pumped.

I really wanted to see it Wednesday when it came out but none of friends could. Definitely planning to see it this weekend though.

It was decent at best. Heath Ledger was great. His role as Joker could never be topped in a million years.

However...
Batman sounded like he had throat cancer. There were some serious problems involving Harvey Dent's storyline. And, the CGI on Harvey Dent could have been done better with makeup. He looked like a character from The Mummy. There were quite a few other problems, but most of them will spoil the movie plot.

I thought it was very good. Heath Ledger was definitely the noteworthy aspect of that movie. Never in a million years would I have guess what he could do with that role.

You guys wanna see a magic trick?

That was easily the best movie I've seen in recent history. The plot twists, the carnage, oh god, I'm not going to sleep at all tonight! Forget the fact that Christian Bale does a horrible Nathan Explosion impersonation while wearing the mask, it's a minor blemish on an otherwise fantastic film.

Saw Hancock and liked it, as much as I'm not into Batman, this looks really cool. Might go see it.

BTW, didn't you live up here in Winterpeg before?
