not too crazy about the title, but at least progress is being made.

I'm in the same boat. Bleh on the name but I'm definitely looking forward to it. If the want to keep a similar "structure" to the name "Dark Knight Rising" doesn't sound as bad.

Title's OK, kinda disappointed about the Riddler, but I'll survive. At least now, it seems like maybe we might start hearing more news about this movie. Looking forward to it.

If the 3rd film is anywhere approaching the 2nd, it will be superb regardless of the title. I thought "Batman Begins" was pretty good, but "The Dark Knight" went waaaaay beyond that.

Heath Ledger is obviously going to be a tough act to follow for whoever plays the role of whatever villain has been decided upon.

I'm glad he isnt persuing The Riddler as a charachter like everyone has been touting since The Dark Knight was released. Both Nolans are great writers and Christopher is an amazing director, I'd love to see where they take the story. Also, I wouldnt be suprised to see Joeseph Gordon Levitt cast in Batman 3.

The Dark Knight Rises? That's the line I use on my GF. That, or "Release the Kraken!".

I still think it might be Black Mask and Two-Face was originally slated to be in the third film (before the second was finished), so that might still be a possibility. Harvey Dent is dead, but Two-Face could still be alive.

Ive been thinking that since the Dark Knight ended. I remember also reading an article long ago speculating who might be the next Batman Villian and they proposed Black Mask as a possibility, though there was never any confirmation.

I agree. Just pointing out that they're already using actors from Inception, so JGL is a legitimate possibility.

Ah, gotcha!

Nolan is a serial recaster! After Batman Begins there was The Prestige, which borrowed Bale & Caine. Cilian Murphy (Jonathon Crane aka The Scarecrow) was also cast in Inception. Perhaps we'll see Guy Pearce cast as ManBat in the future?

Looking up Tom Hardy, I found this article: 'Inception' Star Tom Hardy: I'm An Actor, Of Course I've Had Gay Sex
