Heath Ledger is obviously going to be a tough act to follow for whoever plays the role of whatever villain has been decided upon.

Both Nolans are great writers and Christopher is an amazing director, I'd love to see where they take the story. Also, I wouldnt be suprised to see Joeseph Gordon Levitt cast in Batman 3.

lowsound | Ive been thinking that since the Dark Knight ended. I remember also reading an article long ago speculating who might be the next Batman Villian and they proposed Black Mask as a possibility, though there was never any confirmation.

Nolan is a serial recaster! After Batman Begins there was The Prestige, which borrowed Bale & Caine. Cilian Murphy (Jonathon Crane aka The Scarecrow) was also cast in Inception. Perhaps we'll see Guy Pearce cast as ManBat in the future?
