DATING ADS?

Sign in to disble this ad
am i the only one distracted by the little Hotties smiling at me from the side of the page?!!

when did TB become a place to cruise for snatch? i come here for everything BASS,... but noooo!!!
instead of already being tempted with G.A.S., i now have to contend with the over-whelming temptation for A.S.S.!!!

i need a cold shower & a new bass. will i be able to afford a bass after i cyber-date the goofy blonde on my screen...

what's next,... ads from my local Cannabis Club????

/rant

ps: i don't know if i'm happy or sad about this.

Ads are ads. I've just learned to ignore ads by this point, or else I would own at least one U-bass, an Aguilar head, and I'd be signing up at Sweetwater Music.

But at your point, the dating ads are a bit insulting. Are you trying to insinuate something, TB?

What sites have you been cruising, homie? I'm pretty sure the ads are targeted to the user, 'cause the ads I see are mostly for laptops, guitars, and crossbows.

i'm referring to the banner ads here on TB!
have you not seen the Speed Dating.com ads that interrupt my train of thought while perusing the different bass related topics.

i wouldn't care if they were limited to Off-Topic threads, but it throws me when i'm researching bass related topics. i'll be reading about music theory then get this sudden urge to call a some girl i don't even know!

!
I'm here every day, and I never saw one. As already mentioned, I'm pretty sure the ads are generated by the sites you cruise. I see mostly bass and music related ads.

hmmmm,.. very strange! i don't get. i thought the ads on TB were topic related. for instance, i see home loan ads when people discuss as much. internet dating is something i haven't done in over 10yrs, so...

does anyone else see the girlie ad??? (next time i see one i'll check back)

I get them on here and photobucket, but those are the only sites I get them on. Photobucket seems to have slightly more risque ads but I don't use the computer for "gentleman's literature".

Anyway, they annoy the hell out of me. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN INTERNET DATING GOOGLE, I am not even old enough for them, you usually have to be 18+ to join, and I am not 18!

I've been clicking all over the place and all I really get are music related ads. Got a car ad, a womans shoes ad, and a travel ad, but that was out of lots and lots of music store and fodera ads.

hahaha... that's amusing. But what's more amusing is that the photos you see for those sites are nothing but paid models and purchased modeling photographs. There have been several articles put out over the years explaining their marketing strategies.

As is, whether you get the ads or not is a mixture of search data, cookies, browser visits, and topics in threads you read. So they get you one way or another. Go into the chicks at shows thread and you'll probably get hit with one.
