| im gonna go out on a limb and say no. go to a local strings shop and rent one ask questions of the orchestra teacher and the person at the store. lots of questions.
also don't expect anything but crap in the >$300 price range. violins are expensive for quality (another reason i recommend renting) that rondo violin is perfect for hanging on your wall as decoration.
