The ocean is dotted with out of shape fishermen.
The thing thats a bummer is by getting on that show, it was like he won the lottery.
He was a TV star - he could have taken advantage of all of the perks that come along with it. (money, hot groupie chicks, ect). If he would have taken better care of himself. |

I never worked a commerical fishing boat but I worked as a Merchant Marine for 10 yrs till my back gave out. So I know how the life is out there.. Its a real shame. R.I.P. Phil

| | | | I've never watched the show, but a few months ago we were in a furniture store and he and his crew were in there signing autographs. He seemed like a really nice guy and seemed genuinely suprised that people wanted to meet him. It was kinda funny that when any of his crew swore, he would give them a really dirty look and they would apologize real quick!
