Death of umpire at cricket match

This is a sad story - but I'm sure his family will find some consolation knowing that this guy died doing what he loved most. RIP. Sounds like a nice fella to me.

I thought that myself (the ball was thrown, btw) - but I think you'd realise that it was one of those freak events and no blame could be attached.

But it is human nature to feel regret for being involved in something like that. And this is truly tragic. All the while I am fighting my dark side of humor and wanting to ask who won. Forgive me for this. As this truly is sorrowful.

Yeah, believe it or not, cricket can be a brutal sport. That's why I'm wicket keeper...you get equipment, haha. That, and I've got sharp reflexes

At least he went doing what he loved.
