Easy; 23. 23 was the most incredible year of my twenties; hands down. It started on my 23rd birthday. I was working a third shift swing shift job; working my way through college (I was a late bloomer). Anyway, my work hours were 7pm to 12am. Then I was off until 5am then worked 'til 11am. I would sleep between shifts. Anyway, after 11 the morning of my birthday, I decided I would treat myself to some new clothes that I would wear out to celebrate that weekend.
After malling for a bit and buying new pants and a shirt I went home and decided I would get into my new duds and head to the local nudey bar (only bar open around 2pm) and buy myself a birthday beer and take in a show.
So I'm sitting alone in the bar having my beer when one of the dancers approaches me. We begin talking and she offers a free lap dance for my bday. I accept...why wouldn't I? One free lap dance turns into five free lap dances.
Pretty soon she said that she was going up the street to McDonalds to get some lunch for herself and a few other girls. She says; "When I leave, wait five minutes and then meet me at McDonalds." I did as I was told. When I pulled into the parking lot she was in the back corner in her car. She motioned for me to get in the car with her. I got in and she proceeded to have her way with me right there in the parking lot at 2pm!
After that day; I knew I would have an incredible year. And let me tell you; it was an incredible year!

I didn't dream it and I didn't owe her anything. As a matter of fact, it became a regular thing for about three months until I moved away.

24 was a very good one. I graduated, my band gigged and recorded more than ever before, I played at CBGB's, and I started a relationship with an insatiable woman. I barely noticed the lack of money.

My 20s weren't that good. Hard to pick a good year.

Much better things about that year: Minutemen, Husker Du, the Meat Puppets and the Replacements all in their prime.

this last year of my 20's (turning 30 next month) was definitely the bestest.

My entire 20s were awful. I've blocked them out. The day I turned 30, I went skydiving, survived, and things started getting better. In my 30s I met my wife, had my best band experiences, bought my first house. Turned 40 and became a father six months later. Yeah, my 20s were entirely forgettable.

2002 or 2004. I was studying abroad that time. Best time in my life so far. I still got 7½ month left of my twenties, I hope I'll enjoy them (it looks promising ) because later I think I will get a major 30's crisis...

My 20's were the most horrible years of my life. They drastically changed who I was, in a mostly negative way. Yet there were some highlights. 21 was pretty good, after that things kinda went downhill. but now things are looking up.. so all is good.
