Deep-fried Creme Eggs anyone?

Anyone fancy the heart-attack-in waiting that is a deep-fried Creme Egg?


A chocolate shell with yellow and white fondant, deep-fried in batter. I'm not going to think of the calories...

hahaa classic. Theres a shop up the road selling 3 creme-egg easter eggs (1 shell with 2 creme eggs) for 5 euro..

I'll get the deep fryer out, let yis know how I get on..

I can't imagine anything worse than baby batter inside a chocolate eggshell. Such is the Cadbury egg;. I had one once. ONCE.

One Easter as a teenager, I ate around 25 Creme Eggs. They're like crack to me...I'd probably love a fried one.

Lindor Truffles, Dove chocolates & Andes mints are just three middle-of-the-road items that should have replaced *creme eggs* in the food chain long ago. For that matter, a mangy dog or hyena's backside has got to taste better. *no offense*

Tis sugary sticky bunk no doubt about it. There was a spell years back when you could buy deep fried battered Mars Bars at certain chip-shops too

High cocoa content dark chocolate ftw.

That looks amazing. Here in Texas every year at the State Fair you can find pretty much every candy ever in deep fried form - never seen a creme egg like that though! That looks friggin' delicious.
