Which deity is your bass?

I think of my Fender "Geddy Lee" Jazz as Buddha.
At least that's the impression that I get.

Then I think of my Ernie Ball Stingray as the Hindu deity Vishnu. If you played it you would know exactly what I'm talking about.

I like to think of Gemini (my MM Stingray 4) as Thor

Etymology

Further information: thunder
Proto-Germanic *thunaraz,[6] "thunder" gave rise to Old Norse Şorr, German Donner, Dutch donder as well as Old English Şunor whence Modern English thunder with epenthetic d.
Swedish tordön and Danish and Norwegian torden have the suffix -dön/-den originally meaning "rumble" or "din." The Scandinavian languages also have the word dunder, borrowed from Middle Low German.
Both the God and "thunder" are related to the Celtichi taranis (modern Irish tarann), the term for thunder as well as the name of the God Taranis.

All of my basses are aspects of Saraswati, the deification/personification of music and art.
They fuel Shiva Nataraj, the lord of the dance.

My Sonic Blue P-Bass is dubbed "Neptune"....King of the Deep.

As for my other basses...I guess I'll have to give it some thought.

My Kubickis are not a deity. They are like yin and yang, twin manifestations of the Tao. When they and I are in harmony, the music flows like water.

This post discriminates against all the atheists in the same way as your other ones does against those with peanut allergies.

Give us a break please!
