I'm a big fan as well. I saw Destino when we visited the Dali museum in Paris. I wonder how closely they got to Dali's actual vision for it. Apparently it was shown in some theaters with "The Triplets of Bellville" (which was excellent) but according to Walt Disney it's DVD release will be as a short along with Beverly Hill Chihuahua. I can't even explain how bizarre that is to me.

I like Dali. What did Walt have to so with this? I don't see Disney influence in there.

Nothing creatively. One of Disney's artists storyboarded it with Dali and later made a small sample trying to keep the project alive, but Walt's only part was in signing off on it though he later killed it when money got tight.

That is insane. And, quite an insult.

Nicely played. I give you the BigO gold star for an excellent obscure reference.

Mick Karn is glad someone remembers.

Thank you, sir. I was actually a Peter Murphy fan long before I heard of Mick Karn (fortunately, one of my friends turned me on to Japan)

I love Dali's work, incorporating some into my sleeve when it gets done.

Thanks for posting the link.

You mean you didn't think that George Lopez gem was the best movie of 2008?

That is 67 kinds of wrong. Hell, at least put it in a Pixar DVD or something.
