Detroit Police armed with a search warrant came to a house in Detroit looking for a man accused in a assault-with-intent-to-murder case. The mans 85 year old grandfather came to the door with a gun pointed at police. The police fired twice hitting the man in the arm and leg, he's expected to recover. I feel for the guy but I'm sorry, you just don't point a gun at police. O'h and by the way, the kid they were looking for was not at the home. |

If there is one thing you don't do, it's point your gun at the police. The minute you do that all bets are off. I won't say the guy deserved to get shot but he definitely didn't give them much of a choice.

No way he'll win if he tries. The bottom line is he was in the wrong and police take it VERY seriously if you point a Gun at them. I know I would....especially if you're looking for a known suspect in a crime. Who's to say that Pop's wasn't in on the deal ( seniors can be crooked too).
He should be thanking God that they only shot him in his appendages.
