I'm halfway through my 30's and they are far more satisfying that my 20's. Marriage and a couple kids make life much more fun for me.

No-20's were better-still in my wild partying days.Shacked up with several other people so had really cheap rent,so most of my $$ was to PAAAAARTY.By mid twenties got married, had kids so had to tone it way way down.

WAAAAYYYYYY too many hard drugs. So I would probably have to say my 30's even though I still have 4 years of them left.

Two completely different times in my life. If you gauge "better" by the amount of cheap alcohol consumed, then yeah, my 20's were better. On the other hand, I had a string of crappy jobs, no idea what I was going to do with my life for the better part of a decade, racked up an insane amount of debt, drove everywhere in cars with no air conditioning hoping that they would make it back and thought the pinnacle of my existence was getting to that "great" party populated by a slew of people with even less direction.

I enjoyed my 20's for what they were, but knowing what I know now, I wouldn't go back if I had the choice.

My life started to turn around towards my late 20's. I got married, bought a house, have two kids, reliable transportation (gasp), a career I enjoy and can now afford to go to real events as opposed to a danked-out renthouse with a carport wrapped in black visquene to hold the smell/charge in from the "incense". So, at this point, I'd have to say I enjoy my 30's a little more.

Mike

I'll add that the lack of responsibility had a certain allure to it, but being able to afford responsibility is nice, too.

Thirties was better for me, I was a starving jazz bassist during a lot of my twenties, it was tough. I had more success in my thirties, so I starved a little less.

Fifties are working out great. No complaints at all. Still a jazz bassist though; some people never learn.

Twenties: married to crazy woman. poor.

Thirties: single. beach house. surfer girls.

I'd say thirties.

I'm definitely enjoying my thirties more than my twenties, but I most certainly looked better in my twenties.

36 in a few weeks...

+1. But the fact that I don't remember them just tells me that they were probably more fun than my thirties. Not to say that I'm not having a good time in my thirties.

Thirties, no doubt about it. While I made good money, bought my first house and slick set of wheels in my twenties, these things were just "stuff." I got married to a great girl when I was thirty, and when we started having kids it all came together for me (my oldest daughter is now 14 - yikes!!) It even gets better in your 40's. Trust me on this!
