Admitting failure is one thing but asking for pity is another.

Anytime I have heard that saying in my lifetime it was taking in the context of the person was asking for pity or it was being said on someones death bed in the movies (very cliche).

Nope, I like proving people wrong/surprising people. Or you could look at it like I am here to do what I want and I really don't care if people give up on me because basically its my life?

Yeah, that.

Yes.

I have asked once in my life. I'd never felt so completely stripped of everything. I was turned away. Life, eh?

I kinda-sorta-not-really asked my parents, several years ago when I was being an evil little 8th grader. But seeing as how I'm going through one pf my nasty cycles it's good to kinda-sorta-not-really ask them. Especially my mom, she bears the brunt of most of it.

Yep. My girlfriend. She didn't, and it's all good in the hood.

Chances are excellent you will be. The question is will you ask?

Your answer gives the impression that there is something wrong with trusting someone enough to ask that from them.

I have been asked by my ex wife not to give up on her. The first time I tried not to. After that it got kind of sad.

Hasn't it been almost a year since she passed? Or was that in Feb or April?

Not to get off track.

To ask for a chance is not the same thing of asking for pity at all. When the person pitys you, its because you actually gave up.

If you have to ask for a chance, your chance has been wasted. YMMV.

Nothing wrong with asking, being humble is not a humilation.
