I want to buy a new camera, Slim pocket style. With out getting to crazy with the answer does anyone know what the good ones are that are out now?

I've got an SD600 that's been flawless, my girlfriend has one, my mom has an SD200, and everyone who's bought one, loves them. They're small, portable, and take pretty darn good pictures for a point and shoot.

You may have to look for a while but check out your town's pawnshops. They always seem to be good for these sorts of consumer electronics. |

Get a Canon Powershot.

I just got a Nikon Coolpix for well under half the original MSRP. All else being equal I would recommend Canon as well. |

I haven't tried it on my 720IS yet but it looks sweet. Only for Powershot models though.
