No he was killed. Nothing natural about that death.

If someone gets ripped from the vein of society at a young age I wouldn't call it dying.

Dying to me implies of natural causes or of illness at a younger age.

He utlimately "died", but wouldn't have if a gunman wouldn't have killed him.

Pantera was the first concert I ever saw, and Dime was one of my only musical heroes. I was lucky to have met him - he was one of the most genuinely friendly people I have ever known. I still miss him terribly.

RIP Dime. We shouldn't have lost such a talented musician so early.

Gah, its hard not to think about where music could be at right now if he were still amongst us. Amazing dude all around.
He is the only person that ever made me want to even consider playing the electric guitar.
One of my only heroes.
RIP bro.

I'll never forget sitting at work listening to the news when they said something about a columbus nightclub shooting. I was the first one to post anything about it on here. I just happened to read through that thread a couple weeks ago.

A friend of my band is the FOH soundman for Down. Unfortunately it sounds like if Rex doesn't change his ways and beat his demons pretty quick, he will be joining him soon.

RIP Dime

I'm not mourning Dime's death/murder, I'm celebrating his life.
Do yourself a favour guys, get yourself a drink, sit back and blast Pantera or Damageplan for a while, I know I am.

Excellent choice.
I'm listening to I Am The Night, then I'm gonna put on Far Beyond Driven.

I can listen to Far Beyond Driven forever.

One of the BEST Metal guitarists ever for style alone.
