well my other hobby besides playing the bass is dirt track racing. this year is supposed to be my rookie year but the guys that were supposed help me with my car but they arent returning my calls. the car was supposed be in the shop by early febuary or late january and here we are nearly into march and i havent heard from them after a couple tries to contact them. how much longer should i wait before i find someone else to do the work or just do it myself. the first race is april 25th and it will take some time to get the car going agian. sorry for this being WWWWAAAAYYYYYY off topic but i need some non-biass views

You need to form a bond with your car and be able to keep on top of every little nuance from race to race. Unless you have a big dollar team to handle all the work in between races, IMHO, you should be doing most of the work yourself. |

Just always remember; Asphalts for parking lots, Dirt is for Racing! As long as you at least remember that, you'll be OK.

I know that there are always plenty of bombers for sale around that area. I'm sure you could buy one ready to race if you want. |

I checked out your youtube link and watched the Speedway racing. I watched a lot of that on TV this past early winter on TV in HD and it was awesome. But to me, there ain't nothing like the AMA Pro bikes on the Mile dirt track. Doin' about 130 MPH down the straights and 100 MPH in the turns. It IS real racing. )-(

WRC is fun but they don't always run on dirt so it cannot be brought into the equation.
Honestly if it's a combustion engine going fast I'll watch it . |
