Do any TB'ers have ~18-year-old Gay or Bi-sexual sons who frequent social networking sites?

If so, then you may be interested in the text of an e-mail I sent to a local newspaper today re a legal, U.K.-based (with business affiliates in the U.S.) Gay porn site which has recently expanded its operations to include soliciting submissions of EXPLICIT amateur porn videos--from teens who gather on all-ages social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter...

I printed the porn site's Facebook page (which they set up on Sept. 2nd, and which I've already reported) to a .pdf (in order to disable its links to porn) with the intention of posting this non-graphic evidence here for examination, but the .pdf is too large.

If anyone wishes to receive said text (which includes quotes from the involved porn site that can't be printed here) then please PM me.

BTW. I'd expect that the methods which this pornographer is using to reel in porn submissions from teenage boys could easily be adapted to lure in teen girls as well.

that's where you as daddy need to keep an eye on what your kids do. as long as there's an internet, there will be people pushing porn, and you'll never stop them, so the best thing to do is keep an eye on your kids and take away the webcam on the computer in their bedroom.

Besides in this case porn is not being pushed so much as it is being extracted from gullible teens on Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace via a pitch headlined with:

What is conspicuously missing is the requirement to send proof of age (photocopy of driver's license, photograph of model with license, etc.). If that were provided, there is nothing necessarily wrong, and the adult (even at 18) can decide for himself (herself) whether to submit or not.

Too late. Based upon the largely enthusiastic response of teens who have posted on the pornographer's Facebook page (which has been up since Sept. 2nd), it's likely that many submissions have already been received.

The pornographer in question also sells live web cam sex, which would further explain why they want submissions from teens who not only own good cameras, but also have fast Internet connections (the stated reason for the last stipulation is to enable the efficient uploading of video files).

Some speculations:

Once an 18 year-old is engaged in private web cam sex for the benefit of an online customer of ******, it's not hard to imagine said customer offering the teen a PayPal bonus on the side if he involves a minor in his activities--and Facebook etc is just filled with kids who are sick of hearing the 'no-you-can't-because-you're-not-old-enough line.

And I would further expect that ******'s Facebook-recruited 18-year-old web cam 'porn stars' would have to sign a contract which stipulates that THEY are solely responsible for the content of the video they stream to ******* (which has U.S.-based affiliates) from their home web cams. Thus if charges were ever laid...
