Please help my grandson's school win an educational grant.

Text Clorox 7359 to 44144. Once a day is great. Daily is best. Until the contest is over on Dec 9 @ 9 pm.

You can also vote online daily as well at http://www.powerabrightfuture.com/. Search for Hacienda Heights. Click on the school name.

It will help his school obtain grants for much needed computer/technology upgrades.

We've gone from 130 behind on 11/30 to 1950 ahead as of 12/3 at 4:30 Pacific time.

It's working! Please pass on to your friends!

Thanks for your help.

I was recently asked to do this by my mother in law to help the school she teaches at.
I'll have to ask what school your grandson attends before I can help.

Before I'd even consider this, I'd need more info too.

Which school is this for?

How does the contest work?

What are the prizes?

How does texting to that number accomplish anything?

Personally, I think it'd be easier to give older PCs to the school, but that's just me.

This might give a little insight. I wont name the school, as Stumbo as chosen not to publicize that info at this point...

Why don't we all get together and sell some of our gear and give Stumbo $50,000 to give his kids school? Or.....or.....if 50,000 of us gave $1, that'd be it.

You could do that, or you could just send a text!

Give the dollars to me, I'll get them to my mother in law, and she'll make sure the school gets it, Im sure.

IMO, texting from 100's of people over a period of time indicate to the contest holders who's committed to their project, the amount of support that can be generated and the perseverance of the contestants.

Hopefully that correlates with who will be the most likely to spend the prize money wisely.

I got your PM, Stumbo.

Just curious though why publishing the school's name would be a big no-no... an assumption on my part of course, but I am curious.

My take on that - It could be that people from other schools also involved in the contest. Thats why I asked in my first post what school Stumbo's grandson attends. Turns out he goes to the school my Mother in law works at.

Great!

Thank you so much.

You can vote a second time every 24 hours at Clorox Power A Bright Future Program - Home Search for Hacienda Heights and click on the school.

We're ahead by 1900 now. It's working!

We need more votes to cinch the deal. 6 days to go.

Thanks to everyone that's helped out.

The grant will go towards equipment used to produced student written and produced podcasts. It will be so cool to get the young one's (elementary school) involved in video production, writing/editing and acting/announcing/voice overs.
