Do I even have a chance?

So... I bought a tuner Saturday at Guitar Center... and in these five days I've managed to lose the receipt...
the guy who sold it to me will remember me...
And I want to exchange it for the same exact tuner in pedal form since the tuner out on my amp head seems to be too hot for it... Costs the same price...

Think if I can get a hold of the guy who sold it to me I might have a change at exchanging it? They always ask for name and address... think they have a record of what you buy...?

lulz@horrible organization...

Give it a shot, who knows. The only predictable thing about GC is that they are unpredictable..

I've returned stuff with out a receipt, then again I was also turned away for not having a receipt on another occasion.

They should have your info in the computer. I've returned/exchanged stuff with no receipt.

I've returned things with no receipt at GC. They look you up in the computer.

The only problem for me is somehow I'm listed under several spellings of my name and a few different addresses. Strange.

One solution would be to correct your details next time you're there.

The shop I shop at keeps all my details on file as well. Never had a problem, knock on wood.

True, that.
If his name is in the system, it won't really matter though. The best that can be hoped for is that whomever helps Kevin out isn't a dork. In GC it's a crap-shoot.
I've had some of the best and worst experiences all at the same shop.
