There's been quite a few threads about the subject and usually after 10 or 20 names have been brought out the thread dies.
People who are famous do appreciate the anonymity of an internet forum, and who can really blame them?

I'd expect that bassists who've earned a big name in the biz prefer to socialize here in anonymity the way they could before they got caught in the glare.
The trash press seems to draw a perpetual bead on any public figure.
