Hi.

There's been quite a few threads about the subject and usually after 10 or 20 names have been brought out the thread dies.

People who are famous do appreciate the anonymity of an internet forum, and who can really blame them?

Justin Meldal Johnsen has his own sub-forum. (In fact there are a bunch of players who have their own sub-forums.
Jeff Berlin pops in occasionally.

It's really only people who's names begin with J.

I'd expect that bassists who've earned a big name in the biz prefer to socialize here in anonymity the way they could before they got caught in the glare.

The trash press seems to draw a perpetual bead on any public figure.

All too often the demonstrably intrusive - and dehumanizing - price of fame is freedom...
