Does anyone here actually know (maybe just an acquanitance) a famous person? This has to be someone you actually know/knew, and who actually knows/knew who you are/were. Maybe you went to high school with them. Or maybe you were friends with them in college? Maybe worked with them before they made it big? Former neighbor? Heck... a close friend, even?
If you just met a famous person, or opened up for a famous band at a club/arena, those don't count. You actually had to know them prior. |

| | | | The closest example I can think of is former Chicago Bear William Perry. When I used to live in South Carolina, I met him once at a community festival or something (I forget exactly what it was). We shook hands and talked for a while. I ended up running into him several times, and he remembered me. I doubt he would now though. This has been 20 plus years ago. |

Some Washington Redskins (retired and active) that knew me on a first name basis and some political figures that had my family come over and hang out and go to some really cool events that I can't really mention on here.
I have lost contact with them over the years but it was fun while it lasted. |

One of the brothers, Steve Kasper, made it to the National Hockey League in 1980. He played for the Boston Bruins for a number of years, then Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Tampa Bay before retiring in 1993. I've lost track of him since then, I have no idea what he's up to nowadays. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's hockey-related. Like a lot of Canadian kids, the Kasper brothers lived, ate, breathed and crapped hockey! Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Steve Kasper
