I'm totally serious too. Sold my bass last year. I'd like to pick it up again some day.

although I have scaled back. I used to play in three different groups at church, a jazz trio, and had a couple pick up groups here adn there..
Now I am down to one group at church, and the jazz trio whenever we feel like jamming.

Just last week, the singer from my old band wanted to do a reunion gig with everyone from the band. I agreed, until I found out we were going to be opening for a bunch of other bands in a battle of the bands. I never opened for anyone before, and I was not about to open for a bunch of Green Day wannabe bands. So, I backed out. When I backed out, so did the drummer, and the dream of our reunion gig died.
