Do you bowl in a bowling league?

I do, and we're just about ready to head out. Friday night mixed couples league. Lotsa fun. Forces us to go out on a date every other Friday and get out of the house and away from the kids.

Yep Tuesday nights mixed league. It's me my father, sister and mother. We are a family of bowlers.

Wednesday's merchants league. Five man drinking team with a bowling problem. Bowled my best game a couple of weeks ago. 290 on a low 190's average. Nine count, picked it up and then struck out. Bowling is a crazy sport. Just when you think you have something figured out the bowling gods knock you right back down.

I used to. Some friends of mine from high school joined one 3 years ago, and halfway through the season one of them broke his arm in 4 places and had to drop out, so they called me and said "hey, do you still own that monstrosity of a bowling ball". It's an 19 lb ball that has a tendancy to get stuck in the ball return.

I started bowling in leagues from a very early age. My Father and Grandfather have both bowled in leagues for many, many years. I got to a point in college where I just couldn't do it any more. I had hit my peak and wasn't having fun anymore. I haven't picked up a bowling ball in 5 years.

I don't bowl in a league but I have my own ball and shoes. It's like the way I play bass, I'm a wannabe bowler

I did throw a 9 strike game once. I was on fire. Never came close to that again

no, not in a league. in fact i think it's going to be no until i find a place where the price says "yes" to me.
