Yes, causing someones death is one way of getting life imprisonment.

If nothing died, we would quickly surpass the planets carrying capacity, which would probably result in the extinction of most large animals. So: yes. Next question please.

Life's time limit makes our moments more precious. I would think that being immortal would get boring.

Hi.

This may sound like a quote, and in a way it is .

In order to appreciate life, we have to have a limited life.

It's our concept of the death (and by extention 'after-death') that frames the context of our lives.

I see death as a balance to life....like TOOL said...we would destroy this planet in a heartbeat if it weren't for death

If nothing died we would be knee-deep in dinosaurs, woolly mammoths etc.

If nothing died then there would be no evolution.

It is crucial to the concept of evolution that those who don't evolve die off.

Allie had very red hair. I'll tell you how much red. I started playing golf when I was about ten. One summer when I was about twelve I was there just teeing balls and I felt that if I suddenly turned around I would see Allie standing there... sure enough he was, he was just standing there watching me tee off on his bike behind the fence about a hundred and fifty yards from where I was. That's how red his hair was.

Yup. People die and leave money and space for the living. (sometimes bills too. Which are a definite part of life)

just think of our unemployment rate if no one ever died. However I think the OP might be talking about understanding death is important to life. Atleast that is how I read it to begin with.
