My wife says she sees herself sometimes in her dreams. On TV shows, people see themselves in their dreams. I only dream in first person. |

Other than that it's about 90/10 with my non-lucid dreams (first person/3rd person)

I have occasional lucid dreams, and also a few dreams in which I follow directions I gave myself while awake. But I think it's more like 80/20 for me - maybe because I'm used to watching myself in everyday life, so some of that transfers over into dreams.

Often it involves fish and water and sex. Funny enough I've also noticed that if I sleep on my side facing one direction I have weird dreams that I have to take control of, like falling dreams. I always dream about these surf spots that I've never been to and obviously don't exist in reality. Places, that have really high cliffs deep translucent water with hammerheads and turtles and squid. They also have ridiculously good waves and I try to surf them. If I sleep facing the other direction I dream of all different kinds of Asian chicks. I can't always control these dreams. When I sleep on my back I dream about work and crap and stress. Often I talk in my sleep when I'm on my back and once I woke up when my wife slapped me. I guess I was coming onto some chick that I work with. I mostly sleep on the side facing the Asian chicks. I also flip my pillow to the cool side. |

Very hard for me to figure out the plot since I don't have my glasses on when I sleep. |

I'm usually in the movies or video games some how, though.

Which is kind of first-person (I can see the pages) but also third-person at the same time (the text of the book). Doesn't happen very often but it's extremely confusing when it does.

If I'm falling, it's first person. Others, i'll be watching from behind my head. Like, i'm in a video game. |

| | | Thats interesting. I sometimes do, but I also dream of my self in the third person. I believe its called third person. Anyway... I never look the way I do now. I always look like I did 5 years ago. I have crazy dreams though. I'm always dis-attached from the ones around me.

| | ... you talkin' to me ?? | | Join Date: Dec 2003 Location: DEEP in the Heart of Texas | | i see dream moments thru my own eyes .
i hear conversations between other people , like i'm in the same room , but not actively involved . it's odd ... sometimes i can even sense smells during the dream ... fruits , perfumes , ocean water , etc.
some times my dreams can be so intense and overpowering that
when i wake up i am afraid to move .

| | Monster Mike | | | | | I very rarely dream in the first person, almost always watching myself in the third.
It's also very rare that I dream in real color, does anyone else dream in black and white or through strange monochromatic tints? |
