i love when people mess up when playing a riff and they blame it on their gear.
i used to jam with a guitard that would get to pissed at his guitar whenever he messed up a riff. classic. |

I always thought that when you mess up you are just supposed to keep going. |

"...hey, where'd that string come from?"

Naturally he sucks because he's never even attempted learning bass, and he sucked at guitar. So whenever he stuffs up he always goes "UGH, this bass SUCKS!!!". I'm left thinking, how would he know what a good bass is, he doesn't even play.

Pacman bass, three string fretless, oh and the strings are about a half inch off the board, everybody can screw up a riff on this. Miraculously i have played all of Master Of Puppets on it though
my six string bass tuned like a guitar. Scale lenght is the same as a guitar and so is the string spacing, action is fine playability is fine, its just that the string spacing is just so damn tight it's hard for me to maneuver (one of the reasons I started bass when i was younger was because i never liked the feel of a guitar, too tight and I'd be clumsy). |

You could invariably buy nice bows for dirt cheap when he shot badly and was "p.o.'d at the bow".
Then you'd shoot well with it and he'd want to buy it back...
