Do you love your job? While I'm thankful and fortunate to have my job, and it can be interesting at times, I do not love my work. Some say if you don't love your work, do something else. While this is ideal, I don't think it's always practical.

I have a... love/hate relationship with my work. I am completely enthralled by technology and the need to understand how things work, so IT is a good field for me. But of course you have to take the good with the bad, the red tape, the bureaucracy, incompetent upper management, and my personal favorite, that nagging problem nobody in my department has any idea how to solve...

I cjust started my first job outside of playing music a few weeks ago. so far I love it. I didn't want to quite playing music full time untill i found another career choice that I would enjoy. I went back to schookl and got my Masters in Library Science.
So Iwent from doing nothing but music to workikng two jobs.(referece part time evenings, cataloging full time days)

I'd rather have a bad night of playing music than have a good day working at a Starbucks.

I hate my job and everything about it. I hate my co workers, I hate my boss, I hate the office politics that I'm forced to endure, I hate the water cooler convos, I hat the commute, I hate the building...But I love the fact that tomorrow is my last day!
Tomorrow will be the end of my two week notice. Hopefully the next job will be better.

I hate the actual job sometimes, but I love the people there.

I'd give serious consideration to cutting off a finger to keep it. Not the middle one.

I used to say that if my previous job were a person I'd push it into oncoming traffic. Sounds like you're there.

They wouldn't pay me so much if it were fun. My dad once told me that if jobs were supposed to be fun, you'd never want to come home.

In these recessionary times I think a "what job?" option wouldn't go astray.

I don't love my job. I have found my way into a position where I am the part-owner of a contracting company, and I receive a decent paycheck that helps me take care of my family comfortably. Business has been excellent the past couple of years, and I've received some spectacular bonuses that have given me the opportunity to splurge on a few things that would otherwise remain as GAS. Financially, I'm doing okay for a guy with a little more than a high school education and good working-world skills. If I could continue to support my family's lifestyle with a job I truly enjoyed, I'd start tomorrow.

I love my job. It has been very rare (maybe two or three times in three years) that I've gotten up and said "Man, I don't want to go to work today" and those were because of unique circumstances.

My job rocks!

My job sucks: I'm unemployed during one of the worst economic downturns in 80 years.
