At the very least, producing the electricity that powers our computers is generating a good-sized chunk of funky-smelling gas. I'd guess that building the majority of our basses involved some sort of ozone layer abuse. Do you drive to your gig/practice/GC in anything other than a bicycle or the Flintstonemobile?
Edit: Of course, I voted yes, Not proudly, but honestly. To the two(so far)that voted no, I don't believe you.

| | | | Of course, but it's really just perspective.
The first, and probably worst case of dumping toxic chemicals into the atmosphere happened 2.2 billion years ago when the very first micro-plants started photo-synthesising. They dumped tons of Oxygen into the atmostphere, reducing the proportion of green house gasses, and wiping out millions of species who couldn't survive in an oxygen rich atmosphere.
Of course NOW reducing CO2 is seen as a GOOD thing because we happen to LIKE oxygen.

which is why my daily driver is a 66 ford pickup... no cat converters, almost straight through exhaust, and running quite rich!

' Everyone Pollutes ', and it would be quite instructive and truthful. |

right now am playing bass through an amp which runs on electricity. over here i think this electricity is comming from a nuclear power plant which causes nuclear wastes, or a coal power plant which again pollutes or a hydroelectricity system like a dam which again causes damage to the ecological systems blah there is no way out of it. but
yeah if you drive hummer around in your city then its a different scenario
