Do you prefer memory foam or pocket spring matresses

I have a memory foam and find it too hot to sleep on. What do you prefer?

Right now I have a hybrid.....I just bought a cheap spring mattress and then bought a foam topper for it...we'll see how that works out.

I'm afraid that a foam mattress will end up smelling like everyone and everything that was ever on it after a few years. It just seems like it would act like a sponge.

THE OLD CHANGEUP

Thank you, Mark, for posting a legitimate question. It's good to cleanse the pallette(sp?).
I like springs.
I'm glad you're able to waste time here- apparently nothing horrible has happened to you. Honestly.

I've got a cheap memory foam bed that I got from walmart.com for $400. It's the most comfortable bed I've ever owned - the ladies like it, too!

Interesting note: memory foam was developed by NASA. Those Tempurpedic beds that you see going for $3000 and more aren't any different than the cheap stuff. They're just marketing geniuses, like Monster and Furman.
