Um.....yes. People are just stupid about it. |

Honestly, I think people need to relax a little and understand that everyone is different and has a different viewpoint. That said, some people need to be a little more sensitive to their surroundings sometimes. And to try to be offensive is silly, except maybe amongst friends.
It helps to realize that the human mind is capable of ANYTHING. There are no bounds to thought.
So, In summary: - Relax! Would ya?
- Stop it! Would ya?
Now, someone post something decent. Can't wait to see where this goes...
Dammit, I wanted to be first responder. Geez you guys post freaking FAST!!!

| | You can't plagiarize yourself. | | Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Elgin, IL | | | I personally think we've raised a generation of wusses.
We tiptoe around subjects instead of calling them like they are. We compliment kids over and over (falsely) to build "self esteem" and then the kids go out into the real world and can't understand why everyone else doesn't think they are the cat's meow. We have to be so darn PC as to avoid hurting anyone, so much so that you can't use the world "Christmas" in advertisements anymore. Can you believe we were told to call them "Holiday trees?" What OTHER holiday uses a decorated pine tree on December 25th?
I think the more we become "offended" the more powerful those things that offend become. And tiptoeing around things is just plain ridiculous.
That being said, there are those out there who get pleasure out of hurting others. And those people deserve to be donkey punched.
