Do you wash your windows?

I guess I developed an aversion to window washing, since it was one of my childhood chores. I had to wash every window of a 5-bedroom house, inside and out, every week (I know, first world problem). Anyway, I'm pretty sure I have not washed a window since I moved out 30 years ago. There's only so much dirt that will stick to a window, and I can still see the yard.

Do you do it?

When my fiance and I had just started dating after she spent the night at my house for the first time I get a text at about 10 am saying "hey, I did the laundry and washed your dishes, do you want me to do anything else?" So me, being the smartass that I am, reply with "yeah mop the floors and wash the windows." I get home at about 4pm and she tells me "you ran out of paper towels so I was only able to wash the windows on the first floor."

LOL

We wash the outside of the windows once a year as part of spring cleaning. But I think we've washed/cleaned the inside of the windows once since we moved into this house 10 years ago.

We used to do it in my mom's house, but I haven't been personally asked to do it since I was < 13 years old. I kinda assume mom still does it, but I don't know

Old sash and case windows, many of which are jammed shut, 3rd floor (4th by US naming) flat, by a main street.

Yeah, only so dirty they can get. Never cleaned them.

My wife and I think about it every year or so. Unless we notice vision is impaired, we don't do anything. I'd say we wash some of them once every 3-4 years.

We clean the windows at least once a year. My wife does the insides and the first floor outside. I do the two upper windows.

The car windows are the ones that matter.

Yep. I rent, though, so I don't have homeowners' pride.

The film that coats the inside of the truck windows diffracts light at night, so I at least keep my windshield clean. That way, oncoming traffic isn't a bright blur.

I have to wash my shop's windows very, very often. It's dust and dirt over the summer and just... Grime over the winter. I knock stuff off monthly at my house with a hose, and wash the insides bi monthly
