But I have a hard time believing he wasn't either A) egregiously cavalier to the point of being derelict; or B) blessed (sic) with a completely moronic defense team, if he still managed to get a guilty verdict given MJ's well-documented propensity for...well, for being MJ. |

In the meantime, she caught a severe case of pneumonia, and a whole mess of other stuff happened....long story short, she was put in a drug-induced coma while they operated on her. She was out cold for four days. FOUR DAYS! No blinking, no minimal response to people's voices, no nothing.
And she was given the same stuff MJ died of. So this is the stuff MJ was using initially as a sleep aid? I'm sorry....you can't have the attitude of "You got the cash, I got the stuff" as a doctor. I think it's right he got the guilty verdict; as a professional in that field, you know good and well what the stuff you prescribe will do, while the patient does not have the same grasp.

He was a great entertainer, but he had a lifestyle that was not going to end well.

Man, the level of worship that went on for MJ was just...astounding! I mean, I grew up in a Michael Jackson house. My little sisters had life-sized posters of him all over their room, as if he were "Maria de Guadalupe" as my friend used to joke I love his music; "Baby Be Mine" is still one of my all-time favorite rollerskating songs.
But the complete, unabashed meltdown of entire audiences at his concerts, man. It was nuts! I'm really surprised all of MJ's followers haven't taken this guy down yet...

If Murray had refused to give MJ what he wanted, he would have been fired and replaced by some other doc who would follow MJ's orders. MJ was under enormous financial and emotional strain to pull off that concert tour and Murray decided to be willing participant in making it happen because, hey, it's Michael Freaking Jackson.
Murray should have his license suspended for a while and be placed under house arrest. Maybe do 90 days in jail first. |
