Docs Pro Earplugs?

What are these like at a gig? i am looking for some earplugs but dont really want anything like the ER20's that stick out.

Anyone used them or can you offer advice or some other plugs?

I got a set to try, as my ER-20's were getting a bit grungey. These claimed to do the job, and looked more confortable.

Maybe I ordered the wrong size (I got the mediums/fits most), but basically they were totally useless. I didn't even bother to try them at a gig - it would have killed me. I didn't notice any effect of having them in.

I dumped them, and ordered a new set of ER-20's the same day.
