Does anyone else find money?

Sign in to disble this ad
I know this is a weird topic for a bass site but I just had to ask......Does anyone else find money. I don't know if I'm lucky or just in the right place at the right time. I've found $30 in the tray at an ATM, I've found $20 in the change part of a self-serve checkout at a market, I've found $20 on the sidewalk, I've found $50 in a parking lot, I've found $70 in a bathroom stall and I found a half ounce of weed in the parking lot of a party store (true story). Anyone else find a large sum of money.

I found a dollar the other day, then a quarter right after.. I was happy lol
But I do have a history of finding money. When I was 5 I would 100 bucks, and my mom said it was 20 and gave me an my brother 10... She proceeded to buy us clothes and such with it.. What would a 5 year old do with 100 beans??? 100 juice boxes???? I have found 20 bucks in the street before as well. I have two stories that make it seem like finding money is more than just bit a luck sometimes...
One time I stopped to go on a beer run. I didn't have much money to spend on alcohol, I was with a buddy who was buying. The corner store is located next to a liquor store and I knew that a while back, the people who worked at the liquor store would put full bottles in the garbage on a certain night, and then pick it up later on. It just so happened to be that night.. and I had the strangest urge to check it out. Nothing was there.. but as I turned to walk away, I saw something out the corner of my eye.. it was like 7 or 12 bucks laying in the street just waiting for me
Another time, and my best story, I was getting on a train back from visiting my now ex gf. I get to the train station, bust out my wallet and order my ticket.. on the counter I spot a 20 dollar bill folded with what seemed like a few singles in it. I slip that in my pocket and proceed to pay with my own money. I get down to the platform to count my winnings... a 20 dollar bill and four 100 bills! CHA-CHING!

I usually find between $5 to $20 three or four times a year, sometimes up to seven times a year. I tend to always scout for money. I find more coins than I can count.

I found a quarter in the parking lot yesterday and two singles in my dryer a few minutes ago.

Nothing better than finding old wallets of yours with money in them.

I'm curious as to what the bolded entails.

I assume he means he keeps an open eye when walking down the street. Possibly even going into people's pockets to see if they accidently left money in their wallets.

I didn't realize I made it bold. I'm writing on my iPhone and stuff can come out weird.

You didn't. I added the bold. Sorry, I should have made that clear.

Found a $60 tumbleweed once. I saw it, my brother stomped it. We split it.

I don't find much around here.

I only ever find money in bricks or suspended mid-air. The bricks are a little trickier though, cause the only way to open them is to either upper cut them or smash your head into them.

What about those iron boxes that are filled with them and they just keep popping out when you head butt them over and over again

A game of diminishing returns. Before too long the medical bills outweigh the profit.

I've found a few 20s on the ground before but nothing major. However, my brother, bought a blazer from a thrift store that had $170 in the inside pocket.

I often find my own money in a jacket I haven't worn in a while.
Other people's money, now and then.
