Does anyone here have DVT?

Anyone...

A little history.

For about a month was working out like a madman and then one day, playing volleyball messed up my leg. Doctor said i torn the muscle, so stayed off the leg, it got better but after month still swollen.
I went back and asked them to do a scan, they did and found blood clot. JOY!

For about 3 weeks been taking warfarin now i got a call from my drs office saying they got some bad news and they need to see me. So going on Wednesday, they have not told me what it is... mean while i am guessing.

Anyone here dealth with DVT? Just have few questions.

Uh, I'd need to clean up my box for that or get a support membership.

I just have generic questions... Is this thing perm... like blood thinners for rest of the life or if you got blood clot once they wait for 2nd or 3rd time to put you on blood thinners for rest of your life?

Can i work out with a clot? That how i got this thing in first place, trying to loose weight. I imagine me being over weights it what caused the blood clot in the first place so i kinda want to get to it... At least can i walk for like a hour or do i need just to lay in bed. Like should i stay off my foot as much as possible, or it doesn't matter is what i guess i am asking.

I am sure dr. will answer all of that, but it's hard wait till Wednesday.
