Does anyone remember bassplaza.com?

So I recently picked up playing bass again last year after a multi-year hiatus, and while looking for an online community to discuss bass playing I decided to go back to my old haunt at bassplaza.com. However, I couldn't find it anywhere, so I thought that perhaps my memory was failing me and it was a different website, but some searches here have revealed posts referring to bassplaza, but I can only find posts way back in 2004. So what the heck happened to bassplaza.com?

Perhaps it went the way of The Swami's Basspalace.

I remember Bassmasta, they had the guy dressed in green. I seem to remember that they were more reliable at getting good tabs for songs as opposed to ultimate-guitar or 911tabs which aren't quite as good IMO.

Well, from I can tell, it must have died out back in 2007 or 2008 because the most recent reference I can find to it is a posting on this forum back in 2007, though the address comes up as basslinks.nl which is a dead link anyway. Tis a shame.

bassmasta

Bassmasta was archived off the web before it got shut down for copyright infringment.

It's doing the rounds on torrent sites as a download that lets you run a local server on your PC to view the site.

allegedly....
