Anyone?
Just wondering how well these products work, and if there's any after effects.

Never used 'em, but had to do some reading about whitening for one reason or another recently.

Apparantly they do work, and are relatively safe... The papers claimed that teeth were noticeably whiter, but some specific tooth shades showed less improvement. Apparantly the serious side effects were minimal, but lots of people that used them had some gum irritation.

I used them last summer. They worked fairly well for the price you pay for them.

Did you find any pains in your gums? Or your teeth becoming more sensitive?

They do seem to work, and are especially handy after a vacation in Wine Country.

I get inflammated gums a lot but not because of the white strips. They're fine, trust me.

Mark-
FME, nothing works as well as the **** from the dentist. Problem? It is expensive (trays have to be made from an impression, etc).
Couple years ago, I had braces removed; almost $3k for straight teeth...but yellow?
I tried Crest white strips & maybe some Rembrant ones. IMO, both are a pain & neither yielded results. I have not tried the newer ones that dissolve while on your teeth.

BTW, the stuff from the dentist will zing your teeth the first couple of times.
Now it's Listerine 'Whitening Pre-Brush Rinse' + a toothpaste w/ whitening to maintain.

Here's to drinking coffee from a straw.
