Well, does it? A Fort Wayne man was charged with inhaling toxic vapors for the 48th time after his wife called police and told them he was huffing paint in their apartment last Thursday. According to a Fort Wayne Police Department report, when an officer arrived at the 517 Lawton Place apartment, Elizabeth Gibson said she and her husband Kelly had been in an argument and he had gone upstairs to huff paint. The report said since she was afraid to go inside, she handed the officer her keys and followed him up. When the officer opened the door, the entire apartment smelled of paint fumes and Kelly was found sitting on the couch with his shirt off, and his hands, mouth, nose and chin covered in silver paint. This incident was the 48th time Kelly was charged with inhaling since 1992.

Couldn't every painter on the planet essentially be arrested?

One day my roommate (who was kind of an ass) decided to take the guy's boombox. Not because he wanted a silver-paint spattered worthless old boombox, but he just wanted to F with the guy. So he walks up and takes it, and walks away. The huffer slowly says "hey man, that's mine", and he gets up, takes a few steps to follow my roommate... looks back at his paint can... turns back around and sits down for another huff. |

Your choice of the "less fortunate" term intrigues me.

@munji, yes less fortunate, you may see them huffing paint in the bus stop now, but who knows what brought them there, mental issues, severe abuse whatever. I am in no way a saint or anything, but I don't f*** with the homeless. Whether their huffing paint, drinking alcohol, or smoking crack. Their life obviously sucks and I've never felt the need to make it suck anymore.
