Does Nobody Stock BF Goodrich Anymore?

Sign in to disble this ad
I've called six places in the area. If they advertise BF Goodrich, they only have the bottom of the line touring tire.

Everyone else doesn't even offer the Radial T/A, some say it's discontinued, others say they can get it in time. Some places offer the Traction T/A but don't stock them. Nobody stocks the Firestone Firehawks either, so basically, I can't get tires.

Just a little annoyed that nobody stocks a fairly normal tire, at least IMO.

Guess the El Camino won't be getting new shoes this weekend.

A fairly normal tire, circa 1987. I'm thinking the size and type of tire your looking for has gone the way of the steam locomotive, and that's why you're having trouble finding anyone that has them in stock.

Yeah, well, I guess I'm stuck in '87 as far as cars go. I ordered some Traction T/A's from Tire Rack for $45 a piece. I'm doing this because the Camino will be replaced soon, hopefully, as a daily driver.

Send a message via AIM to GeneralElectric
A store by my house has them. We got them for our van. I'll try and get you the number.

Maybe they'll ship it?

You should try finding what's on my El Camino. I've got 255-60-15 Goodyear Eagle ST's @ all four corners.

Luckily I've got two sets mounted and ready to go.

If you want a rust bucket with 178,000 miles for a price I'd smile at, we can talk
