Dogs dying, and mine sleeping on her back.

I just did a search, trying to find that thread about showing pics of your dog sleeping on its back. In going through the results, I was amazed at how many dogs have died here at TalkBass. It's so sad ... like every third thread was like, "Well, my dog just died" or "I just found my dog dead on the floor." I mean, dogs are dying!

Anyway, I couldn't find the thread. So here's my dog sleeping on her back.

She's a long-haired English cream Dachshund. Here she is sleeping regular.

Here she is swimming in Lake Mead.

My youngest likes to sleep on his back too... usually with legs straight up removing the covers from whomever he's sharing with.

it's a shame that folks often only share pics of their pets after their pets have passed away.

i'd certainly enjoy more "check out my pet" threads.

and cute dogs, all around .

That lake has really gone down in the last few years.
My pop lives in Boulder City.

I always read dog threads! Dogs rule!!
It is too bad their life span isn't a little longer. I have a GREAT pack waiting for me (depending how things go, of course! )

EDIT: Will have to catch mine in the act –– then I'll post!!

My dog likes the Superman position- legs all out, and stomach directly on the floor.

How on earth can that be comfortable? Ours stopped sleeping on her back for a while after she'd grown up, then started doing it again. When she does it, she will sometimes stick her legs out as far as they will go, so cute!

Lately, she seems to favor the "kangaroo" position, it's sort of like the fetal position but with her legs "docked" onto the body so she resembles a kangaroo when it's jumping.

She also puked in my bed tonight and I only found out this morning.
