| | | I had to give a public apology to the entire company after someone found my blogs which were basically "satire" bits about people at the work place. Well some idiot found them, took them seriously printed off about 200 copies and gave them to the rest of the staff and the CEO, the CEO laughed but I still had to give the apology.
I now block facbook through a content filter and write people up who use it lol. |

As fer the OP, I'd bet lots that he was fired for something else. The facebook thing must have been the last straw. |

You deserve to cry. | I couldn't agree more.
I remember, when I was a kid, me and my friends had always made fun of some other poor kid. We talked how he had an actual list of his friends at home, and he happily adds new names to the list, feeling all / brutally erases those he's angry at . It was hillarious at the time.
And now... everybody has those?
I don't use myspace, facebook nor msn. I (possibly irationally) feel that those are emo, just because of status messages machine gewehr mentioned and the like. How I feel and what I think is for me and my friends only, not thousands of some other people I've never met but are labeled Friends in some web application.
....
<goes afk and adds Machine gewehr to his actual friends list :> |

People say all kinds of things online that they might not say IRL. And now people can't even feel free about saying something online because Big Brother Boss may be watching. That's not right.
That being said...this guy *was* pretty stupid. Facebook is heavily used by people to promote business contacts. If your friends in FB are your business contacts...err...this is rather like getting drunk at the Christmas party and saying stupid things about your boss.
Cherie...spits in Big Brother's eye every chance she gets...

<goes afk and adds Machine gewehr to his actual friends list :> | My cousin and h.s. classmates got me to go to Facebook. It was nice catching up with them, but its nothing to get all excited about. MySpace is better for band promotion, but if I really want to chat with friends, IM or e-mail is better.
And now they have this Twittering thing. So annoying.
