Just bought my ticket to this year's Download. The line-up is amazing - Faith No More, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Killswitch Engage, Pendulum, ZZ Top, Dream Theatre, Black Stone Cherry, Motley Crue, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, and a whole load of others.
Anyone else going? Anyone going to any other festivals this year?

Up to now, the big names are:
Sting, Kiss, Plácido Domingo, Girl Talk, Jeff Beck, Sergent Garcia.
I'm eagerly waiting the full program. Last year we've had The Wings, Primus, Friends of King Crimson, The Frequency, Moby, stuff like that.

Did anyone catch what amps Billy used? His cabs did have the Peavey logo on them but I thought I spied a certain "a" logo on his heads. |

I'd much prefer to go to Wacken Open Air if I was going to one of those big European music festivals.

That said Faith No More, Slipknot, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Killswitch Engage, ZZ Top, Dream Theatre, Black Stone Cherry, Motley Crue, Papa Roach, Buckcherry should be awesome.
The last three did Cruefest last year and were amazing. Papa Roach and Buckcherry esp.

But he said he was at the Golden Hammer Awards and meet like" everyone ", needless to say I am jealous.
I would love to have seen ZZ top and Faith No More. And about every other band that was there.

lowsound | They're doing the European festival circuit, then I think they've lined up a few shows in South America. No North America dates have been announced. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
