Hey all.
Is anyone involved with theater stuff or drama club or any kind of thing like that?
I'm on set crew for my school's drama club
We're presenting Dr. Faustus this weekend, I'm STOKED.
Anyone else doing shows soon? If so, what are you doing? |

we had a lotta fun and ****** around a lot but towards the end of my 11th grade year we got tired of not being appreciated and one situation where our principal cussed us out (Told us not to **** up some big thing where an alum from like 1918 or whatever came back and he was successful and was getting some award, he really emphasized the "you better not **** this up!" part, we were not amused) eventually made most of us quit.
I spent my senior year doing the same ****: not going to class and ****** around, and instead of using stage crew as my excuse i just gave no excuse, and things worked out even better. |

Dated a bunch of girls who did theater. Freaks in bed, but they tend to overreact on the little things. Whole lot of fun, but a whole lot of stress.

I did musicals and drama all through middle school, but then got involved in sports in 8th grade and would rather run and work out than recite lines.. |

Yesterday was our opening night, and I screwed up the sound. For some reason, the CD player kept skipping back to the first track, and I didn't think enough to mute it. It was kind of bad.
Hopefully I'll have a better time tonight.

The awesome thing about our production of Dr. Faustus is that there's only one set, so we just go out and set it up before the show and then sit out in the house. It never changes! |

It never changes! | if i was to do it over id get my card early and hang on to it....if you leave it for a time you still build seniority and day calls can be a great part time gig.....the stage local here sets up the venues for big rock shows too.....think schwag.......construction is usually a day gig mon-fri and far enough away from the craziness of the stage or set......
