That's pretty bold color for pencil. Well saturated. If it didn't take you all night, I'd be surprised. I'm not a big fan of graphics but yours has a certain solitude that should have helped you with your insomnia.

I like the nearly imperceptible asymmetry in the presence of such obvious balance. It would be an awesome album cover for the next neo-psych band. I like it, even though I'm not as much into that particular media any longer.

If you're interested in a critique in return, check out this older work of mine in ebony pencil from about thirty years ago:

A bass clef mandala - or are those quotation marks and colons?
Very nice, I like it.

Thanks. It took me 5 hours to complete. im a big fan of pencil drawings and shading techniques. Shading with color pencils is a new challenge. it is well saturated, almost looks like i used crayons. i remember doing a letter design in high-school in the same way on a much larger piece of paper, it took me two weeks to do.
I'm horrible at critiquing but here you go...I like how you have straight liner lines broken up with the curvature of the structures. you've got a surreal/ realism type feel to it with the odd shapes of the structures with the correct shading.

add this to the got art page, so we can keep this stuff organized, and consider using some violet in the black areas at the edge to continue your complementary color scheme

i took art classes all through school. I am definitely not perfect in my technique but I still enjoy drawing and painting and other such things. I can be rather relaxing. If you consider 5 straight hours of color pencil shading. lol
