Just text message your buddies for help while you're driving. Make sure you spell everything out. No one likes "that guy" with his idk and bff's.

+1 have all your friends park in the parallel parking spots, I hated that part of mine.

It's easy. Just make sure to stay under the speed limit and make full stops at stop signs.

full stops, both hands on the wheel, make sure your tester is buckled in before you begin, and exaggerate your movements when you're checking your mirrors.

I've been told to over exaggerate checking my mirrors. What's the chance of the examiner allowing me to do a maneuver again if I make a hash of it?

Depends on what kind of mood they're in.

Drive the speed limit.
Use turn signals.
Make full stops.
Look both ways.
Wear your seatbelt.
Both hands on the wheel.
Relax.

I asked the examiner if I could start again after making a hash of reversing around a corner & he said yes, but I had only just started mucking it up and it was 23 years ago.
Relax as much as you can but pay attention to the road.
cheers & good luck

I notice a few people saying wear seatbelts. It's against the law in the uk to not wear one. What's the law on seatbelts in the US? Thanks for all of the help, keep it coming

The law requires you to wear seatbelts, but many people don't anyway.

I'll be 15 July 3rd. The actual date that my birthday was supposed to be before was July 1st, but I went ahead and payed in advance and I was put into the class. They told me I can get my permit once I was 15 which is July 3rd.
