dumb computer question

So a ways ago i had to completely start from scratch with my laptop and reupload the operation system, etc. Does anyone know a utility to update the clock? every time i check now it's an hour behind the time the cable box shows.

Oh, I'm using XP....media edition i believe.

It should update itself from a web server from time to time. Make sure you have the right time zone.

Yea.....I'm looking at things......Clock is set to eastern standard (since I'm a jersey boy), auto daylight savings time is on, things should be set. But a half hour ago I still was changing the time by an hour.

yea I synced things up several times already. the clock simply thinks its an hour behind every time. I changed things up but I don't know whats with it.
