So, I got tired of DVD's I had being scratched over time and transfered about a 100 or so DVDS and several HBO/Showtime box sets to my iMac.
I'm curious if I could dump the movies, as well as .avi movie files I have, onto a thumb/flash drive and hook them directly to a DVD player to play on a TV.
Any direct experience with this? |

There are also alternatives. I no longer use a dvd player. I have a Iomega ScreenPlay (older model). It plays digital audio and video files as well as pictures. |

See this is why, and I"m directing thisCapt Obvious' for the sarcastic post, I look to TB'ers ACTUAL experiences, and not just a Google search. I find that the wealth of knowledge here on this site on just about ANYTHING is worth more than any article/mag review/etc.
And it's funny how the 'do a search' guys generally have nothing to offer to the discussion, making you wonder why they bother to post in your thread in the first place. I guess I'll see you at my upcoming "has anyone heard of Sadowsky?", "Who's this Jaco Guy?" threads. |
